Most patients are familiar with the standard filling
material of silver-mercury amalgams. They provide a
restoration that sometimes does not bond well to teeth,
allowing decay to eventually start under the filling.
Patients do not like the look of them in their teeth – the
ugly black plug revealed when they smile, laugh, and talk.
We do not use amalgam fillings but instead, offer modern
restorations of a natural-looking white composite that does
not contain any metals. They are of the highest quality and
bond very tightly to the remaining tooth structure. This
